Wanstead Club Championship shared

After a keenly contested seven rounds of the 2009/10 Wanstead & Woodford Club Championship, Ian Hunnable, Larry Marden and Gerry Hayes had finished tied on 5 1/2 out of 7.  David Smith just missed out on joining the tie when he could only draw with Steve Gilmour in his delayed round 7 tie.  Gerry Hayes opted out of the play off on the grounds that he did not deserve to participate as he had received a 1/2 point bye and had a game conceded to him, so two games were scheduled to be played between Ian and Larry, who had already drawn with each other.  When both of these additional games were drawn, it was agreed that the title should be shared.
